The Slingshot Labs leadership team has a proven track-record
of entrepreneurial success, with it’s key underpinnings coming from
two of the founders of MySpace.com, both of whom have proven track
records of successfully building and running Internet businesses.
Slingshot’s overall approach embodies the continued entrepreneurial
spirit and vision of NewsCorp.
JOSH BERMAN
Josh has a long track-record in building and running
Internet businesses. In addition to being a co-founder he
most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer of MySpace.
MySpace created a new platform for a generation to communicate and
discover culture based around the self expression and connectivity
of the site’s 120 million active users.
Berman formerly co-founded and managed successful Internet
companies, ResponseBase Marketing, and Xdrive Technologies.
Prior to his start up life, Berman was a management consultant with
PricewaterhouseCoopers, and an international marketing manager and
a senior financial analyst at Twentieth Century Fox.
Berman received his MBA from the University of Southern California,
his BA from UC- Santa Barbara, and is a CPA in the State of California.
COLIN DIGIARO
Colin has spent his entire career helping build
Internet Start-ups. In addition to being one of the
co-founders of MySpace, he most recently served as their SVP of
International Corporate Development where he was responsible for
the deployment of MySpace’s global revenue strategy encompassing
Sales and Sales Operations as well as overseeing and driving strategic
partnerships and alliances. Prior to his work on the International
business, Digiaro led MySpace’s monetization efforts as its SVP
of Sales, where he established and built the Sales team into one
of most formidable Web2.0 sales teams in the country.
Digiaro also led Sales & Business Development for ResponseBase
Marketing as well as Silicon Valley start-up Signio, which was acquired
by VeriSign.
Digiaro holds a B.S. degree from the University of Southern California,
where he had dual concentrations in Management and Policy studies.
